The Oya Koko Foundation (OKF) is an all-volunteer organization, founded in 2012 with the primary purpose of raising funds to support the mission of Nikkei Senior Gardens (NSG).

Our Impact

Since its founding, OKF’s fundraising efforts have resulted in many enhancements for the residents.
· Updating public spaces with new gym equipment and new dining room furniture.
· Improving safety and security with the installation of automatic doors, outdoor lighting, pathways and a new security system.
· Expanding and improving memory support facilities.
· Beautifying the grounds with putting greens and fruit and cherry blossom trees.
· Recognizing our contributors with memorial benches, honorary bricks, named pathways and a “Founders” rock.

Construction of an 18,000 square foot building to increase residential housing (21 apartments) and activity areas for both assisted living and memory support.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
With your support, the Oya Koko Foundation will assist Nikkei Senior Gardens in:
· Second floor patio conversion into enclosed multipurpose space
· Funding the construction of “Building 6”.
· Maintaining and improving NSG’s existing facilities.
· Creating an exceptional environment that is safe, secure and inviting.
· Modernizing and updating services and equipment at NSG.
· Allowing NSG to attract the best staff and employees available.
· Providing educational support for NSG staff and employees to advance their professional careers.
